of Brunei Darussalam Exhibits For The First Time At CommunicAsia2009
 
Asia's leading infocomm event to help boost Brunei Darussalam’s ICT industry.
 
SINGAPORE, 14 May 200 9 - CommunicAsia, Asia's most established and relevant trade event for the infocomm industry is proud to have the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry (AITI) of Brunei Darussalam leading the Brunei Pavilion at the show for the very first time.

The Brunei Darussalam Pavilion will see some of Brunei’s most prominent players from the ICT industry exhibiting. Alif Technologies, which helped put Brunei Darussalam on the global map when it became the first company in the world to implement a multi-purpose SMART IC. Other notable exhibitors include Telekom Brunei Berhad, the nation’s first internet service provider and iCentre, Brunei’s first Info-Communication Technology incubator.

"CommunicAsia is a great platform for the world to see what the Brunei ICT industry can offer. At the same time, it also gives us a chance to be exposed to the latest technology offerings," said Pg Hj Md Zain, Chief Executive of AITI. “This event will be the perfect opportunity for Brunei ICT companies to network and explore possible business opportunities with other regional and international ICT companies."

CommunicAsia is the largest infocomm exhibition and conference in Asia, and a must-attend event in the calendar for business leaders, government officials and trade professionals across the region. The show, together with BroadcastAsia are expected to feature about 2,000 exhibiting companies from 65 countries and regions from across the globe. This year, CommunicAsia will see strong group pavilion representation from Australia, Brunei, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan, UK, USA and Vietnam. CommunicAsia returns to Singapore Expo from 16 – 19 June 2009, featuring key technologies that draw huge interest and demand from the market.
