Extends into Asia-Pacific for
2008
Since its inception in 2003, NAVTEQ
Global LBS Challenge has become the premier
program for the development of cutting-edge
location based services for wireless
applications. This is the first time NAVTEQ, a leading global provider of digital map
data, will bring a dedicated LBS Challenge event
to the Asia-Pacific region, in addition to The
Americas and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
An awards ceremony announcing
Asia-Pacific winners will be held at
CommunicAsia in June 2008 in Singapore, shining
a spotlight on talented developers and
entrepreneurs.
NAVTEQ invites Asia’s
most talented developers and entrepreneurs to
participate in the premier event in the
location-based services (LBS) industry, with a
prize pool valued at $3 million (USD) in prizes
