From Marketing, Real Estate, Education to Travel and Tourism, Training and Simulation, VR has also brought a new dimension to gaming, content production and entertainment, innovating journalism, created new possibilities with Virtual Worlds, and even a new experience – that is Social VR. Come and uncover what all this means to you, your business and your future – in “The Emergence of VR in our work, life and future”.

Media activities include channel operations, digital and satellite broadcasting, content creation, soundstages for filming, virtual reality studios, post-production, visual effects, games & animation, audio mixing and advertising. The topic will discuss how the media eco-system idea was initially conceptualised back in 2010, leading to its execution and how it is today, a thriving media hub since its launch in 2013.

Session 3: Digital Identity in a Digital Media World
“Who am I? A unique Digital Identity is critical in the Digital Media world for enhanced security to support transactions and interactions.
As the cyber and physical space converge with the advance of IoT, pseudo identities and passwords are no longer viable as they are highly vulnerable. The best way to secure your Digital Identity is the pervasive usage of biometrics.”

Session 4: Real-Time Sporting Events in Virtual Reality
Virtual reality is one of the most exciting new ways to broadcast live sports and improve fans’ viewing experiences. Now, we can give fans that cannot attend a race in person the opportunity of feeling like they are actually immersed in the experience from any perspective. Julien will describe how Virtually Live achieves this in True Virtual Reality.
