Papers selected for presentation should address compelling issues
and challenges in the broad spectrum of information and communication
technology industries. These topics should include, and are not
limited to the following themes:

that include their terrestrial networks

How Proposed Papers/Abstracts are Evaluated
- Relevance to the selected theme and overall programme.
- Latest/New knowledge of technological advancements, and their
practical applications in Asia.
- Research and/or case study presentations that show the definite
applications, advantages and limitations of the technology/service.
- Interest to senior management/executive decision makers
- Seniority and experience of speaker - high-level or senior
management speakers will be given greater consideration during
selection.
- Technical presentations are discouraged. When presenting technical
information, emphasis should be put on demonstrating how the technology
affects business strategies, financial performance and end-user
services.
| Undue commercialism or
the citation and promotion of trade names and specific products
and/or services in abstracts and presentations will lead to
automatic rejection. |
Guidelines to Submitting Proposed Papers/Abstracts
- Prospective speakers are to submit an abstract of not more
than 300 words, together with a 100-word professional biography.
Abstracts and biographies beyond the stated length will not be
accepted.
- Papers/Abstracts must be prepared for presentation in English.
- Papers/Abstracts must not have prior extensive coverage or
circulation, such as presentation in previous/upcoming conferences
and/or publications.
- The Organiser reserves the right to adapt the information in
the submitted paper/abstract for publication in the event’s
promotional materials.
- All speakers whose proposed papers are selected for presentation
will be required to sign a Copyright Form, granting Singapore
Exhibition Services Pte Ltd permission to include the final papers
and/or presentation materials in the conference proceedings (printed/online).
It is strictly the speakers’ responsibility to have obtained
any necessary organizational clearance before submission.
| The Organiser’s
decision on the selection of proposed papers and its subsequent
allocated slot in the conference programme is final, and no
further correspondence will be entertained. |
Notification on Status of Proposed Papers/Abstracts
- Selected speakers will be notified by email. The confirmation
email will be sent before/by 29 February 2008.
- Selected speakers must respond with an acknowledgement within
3 working days to confirm their participation, failing which the
initial acceptance will be rescinded.
- The Organiser does not accept responsibility for emails not
received / read, due to mistakes in submission, change of contact,
or other unforeseen circumstances.
